Blocked Sewer repair
Got a bad smell, slow drains or a toilet that’s overflowing? It might be a blocked sewer pipe. At Leak Hunters, our licensed plumbers in Fletcher specialise in tackling sewer line blockages. We quickly identify the issue and fix it properly, so your drains flow the way they should.
Why Do Sewer Pipes Get Blocked?
There are several common culprits behind sewer line blockages, particularly in older homes in Fletcher and surrounding areas.Â
- Tree roots breaking into cracked pipes
- Wet wipes, grease and sanitary items getting flushed
- Collapsed or misaligned pipes
- Ageing sewer systems that haven’t been maintained
Not sure what’s causing your issue? Our CCTV drain inspections show us exactly where and what the problem is, so we can clear it quickly and stop it coming back.
Signs of a Blocked Sewer
Not sure if your issue is the sewer line or just a regular drain? Here are the key signs
- Multiple drains blocked at the same time
- Gurgling sounds or bad smells from pipes
- Sewage overflowing outside
- Toilets bubbling or draining slowly
- Water backing up in the shower, laundry or sinks
If you are getting any of these common signs, its likely that the issue might be from your sewer line, and not just a minor clog.Â
Our blocked drain plumbers can find out whether it’s a local issue or a main sewer line blockage.Â
How We Clear Blocked Sewer Pipes in Fletcher
We have a tried and tested method for clearing Fletcher sewer pipes effectively, without damaging your propertyÂ
CCTV Drain Inspection
We begin with a camera inspection to help us pinpoint exactly where the issue is, and what could be causing it. You will receive a detailed report along with video footage of the inspection
High Pressure Jet Blasting
For most blockages, jet blasting will effectively cut through grease, tree roots, and debris without harming your pipes. It’s quick, safe and gets the job done.Â
Drain SnakingÂ
If jet blasting doesn’t do the trick, your plumber may turn to a drain snake. This tool is great for breaking up and removing blockages, especially in those tricky bends of the pipes
Sewer Pipe Relining
In more serious cases where the pipe is cracked or collapsed, we offer no-dig sewer pipe relining. It’s a fantastic way to restore your pipes without the hassle of excavation. Learn more about our pipe relining services
