For burst pipes, major leaks and blockages that can’t wait, the line runs around the clock, and we’ll talk you through closing the isolation valve, the tap that shuts off supply to a single fixture or to the whole house, so the damage stops while a plumber is on the way.
Where the fault sits underground or behind a wall, you get the diagnostic video from the drain camera and footage of the finished repair, so you can see what was wrong and what was done rather than take our word for it.

Yes. Do older terraces with shared walls need a different approach?
They do. In the terraces at Cooks Hill, Hamilton and The Junction, one wall often carries the plumbing for two homes, so a leak on one side shows up on the other. We locate the source acoustically before opening anything, which matters more in these streets than anywhere else, because the wrong wall means two repairs instead of one.
Does salt air actually affect plumbing near the beach?
Yes, and it shows up first in copper pipework, shower fittings and hot water units. Along Merewether, Bar Beach and out on the Stockton peninsula, we see systems fail years short of their rated life. Pinhole leaks in copper are the common one, and they’re usually inside a wall cavity by the time anyone notices the water bill.
Can you find a leak under a concrete slab in the newer estates?
Yes. Slab homes at Fletcher, Maryland and Wallsend are located with acoustic equipment and thermal imaging rather than by breaking concrete on a guess. Once the point is confirmed, the repair is a targeted cut in the floor rather than a trench across the room.
Why do the older western suburbs get so many blocked drains?
Clay sewer lines with rubber-ring joints, mature street trees and decades of ground movement. Roots find the joint, then the blockage builds behind it. We clear it with high-pressure water jetting and inspect with a drain camera, and where the pipe itself has cracked, pipe relining repairs it from the inside without digging up the yard.
